Abstract Reality, 2020
A sense of disorientation and clashing thoughts displayed through a complex composition. This is to capture my initial experience with relocating to a new place and making oblique observations of my surroundings.
Normalcy, 2020
A piece I made for my initial experience with the pandemic.
The day starts off gloomy, monotonous, and tired. The four corners of the room feel as is they're closing in on you. You see that there is a source of light that calls to you. You question the decision to leave the state of your unsettling comfort and delve into exploration. There are many things around you that distract you. Time passes. Smoke travels. Time passes. Smoke intensifies. Anxiety. Smoke. Calm. What a beautiful morning. Another light calls to you. There is life. Endangered, but thriving - but warm. Your exploration answered to you. It gave you meaning. - - Who knows if the plant is going to survive. who knows if the slug or the spider are going to survive. But there is life in the present and it is all around you. The day ends in the same place it started but this time there is light. There is comfort and there is cheer. And maybe tomorrow is going to be the same. Who knows.
